Parc IX Tenants’ Association
is a non-profit volunteer-run organization. Since 1987,
we have represented the majority of residents who live
in this high-rise apartment building located at 9 Deer
Park Crescent. We represent the general interests of our
membership in dealings with the property owner’s
management company, Cromwell Management Inc. in
matters regarding extraordinary rent increases, building
and grounds maintenance and security. The
Association
and its Board has no authority or mandate to represent
individual residents in their dealings with the property
owner or Cromwell.
An annual general meeting is held in order to elect
board members, review the previous year’s
Association
activity and discuss current concerns and possible
solutions to be presented to Cromwell. The board
of directors meets periodically to review current
matters of concern and monitor the progress of
recommendations made to Cromwell.
Considering the quality tenant profile and the current
level of rental rates charged, we believe it is in the
best interest of Cromwell to provide all
residents with up-to-date, comfortable and
well-maintained rental premises. The
Association
is constantly encouraging Cromwell to elevate the
general standard of building and grounds maintenance. In
our opinion, Cromwell’s current maintenance
standard is not good enough.
